Trailblades
Play a knight, an archer or a mage through rounds of slimes, goblins and golems, with a boss every third round.
Trailblades is a side-scrolling action game. You pick a hero and fight through round after round of slimes, goblins and bats, with a boss every third round. A run lasts until your hero falls; the round you reach is your score.
The heroes
| Hero | Health | Fights with | Special |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knight | 120 | Wide sword swings; tough but slow | A spinning attack |
| Archer | 80 | Rapid arrows; fast and nimble | A spread of three arrows |
| Mage | 100 | Exploding fireballs | A huge arcane blast |
The special recharges for 5 seconds after each use.
How a round goes
- Each round is a stretch of land: the Meadow, the Autumn Woods, the Snowy Peaks and the Desert, in turn. Walk right, jump the gaps and platforms, and reach the flag to clear it.
- Slimes, goblins and bats come at you along the way. Defeated enemies and the coins on the path pay Tacs.
- Every third round is a boss round in the boss's lair: the Gloop Monarch in the Slime Swamp, the Goblin Warlord in Warlord Canyon, the Stone Golem in the Golem Cavern. Defeat the boss to clear it. Later bosses return stronger, as Elder, Ancient and Eternal.
- Loot chests drop food. Walk into it to heal: an apple restores 15% of your health, a drumstick 30%, a cake 50%.

Gear
Tacs buy gear in the Shop: weapons and armour, bows and arrows for the archer, and other specials for each hero. Equip it from the Trailblades menu before a run.
