Orbit Rumble
Space dogfights with four ships, against bots or a second player on the same device.
Orbit Rumble is a space dogfight seen from above. Each round, every ship fights until one is left flying; that ship wins the round. Win the set number of rounds to win the match.
Matches
- Pick your ship in the hangar with the arrows beside it, or a swipe.
- Quick match: you and 1 bot.
- Brawl: you and 4 bots, everyone for themselves.
- On a computer, two players can share one keyboard, one ship each.
- In Settings: the bots' skill (Easy, Normal or Hard), a match of first to 3 rounds or first to 5, and player 2's ship.
- On a phone held upright the arena is tall, and your ship starts at the bottom.
The ships
| Ship | Health | Weapon | Special |
|---|---|---|---|
| Falcon | 100 | Twin blasters | Dash: a burst of speed that dodges bullets |
| Titan | 150 | Heavy shells that splash; slow and tough | Shield Bubble: blocks everything for a moment |
| Viper | 65 | Rapid spread shots; fast and fragile | Cloak: an afterburner that slips away |
| Nova | 110 | Charge laser: hold fire to charge, release to shoot | Missile Salvo: four homing missiles |
In the arena
- Asteroids drift through the arena and block shots.
- Power-ups appear every few seconds: Repair restores 35 health, Rapid Fire speeds up your shots, Triple Shot fires three at once, and Shield adds 40 shield.
- The bar under each ship's name is its health; the thin line under it fills when the special is ready again.
