How to File a DMCA Complaint

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that any content available on our website infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice of copyright infringement to our DMCA Agent with the following information:

Required Information

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. Please provide sufficient detail (e.g., the work's title, URL, registration number, or other identification) so we can locate and verify your ownership.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that you request to be removed or access disabled. Please provide the specific URL(s) where the content appears on FreeGames.fun.
  3. Your contact information, including:
    • Your full legal name
    • Physical address
    • Telephone number
    • Email address
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name will serve as your electronic signature).

Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly
  • Notify the content provider about the takedown
  • Document the complaint and our actions taken
  • For repeat infringers, terminate their access to our services

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. Consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

False Claims

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Good Faith Belief
